Verifying the output of a simple decoder/encoder
I am designing a simple C++ decoder and encoder of the OFDM waveform. I created a binary waveform of 527 1s and 100 zeroes and then encoded it into 512 1s and 128 zeroes, and then encoded it into a simple hexadecimal number. The output of my decoder was completely wrong. What was the problem with my encoder and decoder?

So I did a little work and got my encoder working properly. My problem was that I did not know the bit representation of the hexadecimal value. The following number is decoded correctly: "0102030405060708090a0b0c0d0e0f". The problem with my decoder is that in the following number: "020102030405060708090a0b0c0d0e0f101112131415161718191a1b1c1d1e1f" it keeps on adding more zeroes to the front, which means that it never starts decoding it. This is the decoder.
